What’s the ReStore?

Habitat ReStores are retail outlets where quality used and surplus building materials are sold at a fraction of normal prices.  Proceeds from ReStores help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. 

Our goals are to:

• Support Habitat for Humanity home building program

• Keep valuable materials out of local area landfills

• Provide the community with a source of low cost building materials

• Provide an opportunity to volunteer at the Habitat ReStore

Donate.

The ReStore accepts donations from anyone and everyone! Individuals, builders, contractors or remodelers, can all benefit by donating new and gently used building materials to the ReStore rather than filling dumpsters and adding to our landfills. And your donation is tax deductable! We accept items like: cabinets, tools, appliances, doors, windows, lumber, sinks, electrical and plumbing supplies…

Get a good deal… help the environment…and support a great cause! Our new and gently used building supplies are 50% - 75% off retail prices! Items for sale include: vanities, flooring, doors, windows, tools, light fixtures…

Volunteer.

The ReStore provides an opportunity for those who may not wish to be on the construction site to volunteer with Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity. ReStore staff pick up donations, assist customers during store hours, prepare and price inventory, complete administrative tasks and much more!
