Keri Nelson joined Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity in July of 2014 as the Executive Director. Keri brings over 18 years of volunteer experience with Habitat to her role as Executive Director and is eager to work with the partner families, volunteers, staff and the community to help build affordable homes for the Rockford community. Keri will lead Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity’s mission of eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
